Federal Circuit hears two appeals from TTAB

Last week, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) heard oral arguments on two appeals of cases from the TTAB. I was fortunate to attend both in person. But because the CAFC posts the audio files from the arguments, you too can hear what a federal appellate court trademark oral argument is like.

Registrant appealed the TTAB’s entry of summary judgment on grounds of abandonment which resulted in cancellation of the LENS registration for computer software.

Applicant appealed the TTAB decision sustaining the Opposition and denying registration of the COLOR ME MINE mark.
